Things I Hate: XIII (2003 Video Game)

I bought this game a few years ago after hearing some interesting reviews on the title. Cel-shaded games were pretty popular a decade ago, and XIII took off on this success. Mainly because it was easy too when you're based off a comic book. The game really does feel like a comic books, they even add the "comic book font" when you hurt someone. It's a shame that the game's difficulty really ramps

Splinter Cell Trilogy HD On PS3 Lacks Inverted Aim

The recent release on PS3 may look all nice and shiny, but for some gamers you'll try to return your purchase. Why? Because it lacks inverted aim options (where aiming controls are backwards), and for those who claim people like me are backwards tell that to airplane pilots. I always play inverted, and I'll miss this release. 

My Top 10 Worst No More Heroes Characters #1: Nathan Copeland

I hear this guy was suppose to be the 10th ranked fighter in the first game, but got cut in favor of Death Metal. Honestly I think they made a wise choice. Why bring him back? I have no clue. He's a lame rapper who throws women at you....yeah. 

My Top 10 Worst No More Heroes Characters #2: Ryan Yamazaki

He's the creepy gym leader of the 2nd game. Since Thunder Ryu died, Travis needed a replacement gym to work out at. I liked the little 2D mini-games for awhile, but there was one workout that was brutal. 

My Top 10 Worst No More Heroes Characters #3: Jasper Batt Jr.

He appears as the first rank fighter in the 2nd game, but c'mon he was a dork. His form was a stupid flying car, his 2nd was a super-hulk version of himself, and the 3rd was like a Macy's Thanksgiving Day balloon. 

My Top 10 Worst No More Heroes Characters #4: Charlie McDonald

He appears as some lame football player jock in the 2nd game. Though I admit, that zoid fight was cool. 

My Top 10 Worst No More Heroes Characters #5: Dark Star

He appears as the first rank fighter in the first game, and looks like Darth Vader with bad fashion sense. He also tries to pull the "I am your father" stuff. I'm glad Jeanne killed him. 

My Top 10 Worst No More Heroes Characters #6: Helter Skelter

Most people don't even remember Helter Skelter. He was actually only in the game's trailer before it was released. Sure it was added as a bonus in the game, but you didn't watch it. It was also when the game had different voice actors and a bit of a different art style. It must suck to die and be forgotten. 

My Top 10 Worst No More Heroes Characters #7: Letz Shake

Ranked right in the middle of the first game, you never get to fight him. Instead he's finished off in the cut-scene by Henry Cooldown. Then you find out that the random dude was just some random dude. The actual big brain was Letz Shake. Oh and he goes by Dr. Letz Shake. His fight in the 2nd game was alright. 

My Top 10 Worst No More Heroes Characters #8: Speed Buster

I didn't like her too much. She was an old granny with a laser sniper rifle. She kills the awesome Thunder Ryu, and the battle against Travis is nothing but easy evasions until you reach her. 

My Top 10 Worst No More Heroes Characters #9: Ermen Palmer

He was just some dude that tried to kill Travis at the end of the first game. Instead Henry Cooldown slices him in half before he gets the chance. He's actually an ode to some character from the GameCube game Killer 7. 

My Top 10 Worst No More Heroes Characters #10: Skelter Helter

He appears at the start of the 2nd game as a enemy of revenge against Travis. He's also a whiny loser. He also happens to be a parody of Cloud Strife from Final Fantasy VII.
