Anita Perry Blames Son's Job Loss on Obama

The first lady of Texas isn't very happy of what's happening to her husband's political success so far.  She's even blamed her son's job loss on Obama's regulations. Which regulations? Who knows but apparently he works for a bank and he had to quit so he could help his father campaign. Poor kid...not. She's also said her husband Rick Perry has sunk in the polls because his conservative opponents

Protect Life Act Passes Through The House

Republicans have passed a controversial anti-abortion bill targeting women and the Afforable Care Act. It basically bans women from buying health insurance that pay for abortions. Oh and if you're pregnant and you're dying? Well a hospital can deny you service. This won't pass the Senate and thank goodness Obama can veto it if it does.

My Thoughts on The Presidency of Bill Clinton

This will be the last of my thoughts on the Presidency of whoever. I've done every single president until now except Bush Jr. and Barack Obama. Obama is still in his first term, and Bush Jr. hasn't been out of office that long. So for the sake of being fair, I'll give Bush Jr. till the end of Obama's term(s) for a retrospective. So yeah Bill Clinton became the first Democrat to get the high seat

Gov. Jerry Brown Passes Dream Act For California

The new law just took effect for one of the most important states in America. It allows illegal immigrants to get scholarships and pay state resident rates for colleges if they can prove that they are working towards legal residency. It's funny to see right-wing groups get all upset about this yet they deny being racist/nationalist in the immigration argument. Yeah being against people working to

Hank Williams Jr. Quits Monday Night Football After Being Fired

The country music singer is known for 3 things: his music, monday night football, and being an idiot. As an active supporter for the Republican party, he recently went on Fox News and compared Obama to Hitler. ESPN took notice and quickly fired him. Hank Williams Jr stated on his website something different. “After reading hundreds of e-mails, I have made MY decision. By pulling my opening Oct

700 Wall Street Protesters Arrested on Brooklyn Bridge

After days and days of protesting the criminal abuses of Wall Street, the gang of protesters marched themselves onto the Brooklyn Bridge in New York. They occupied the whole street instead of the pedestrian walkway. Even though I praise the protest message (one of my friends was arrested in this very incident), I do have to condemn their occupation of the bridge. When you protest you're not

My Thoughts on The Presidency of Jimmy Carter

Jimmy Carter took over after defeating Ford in the presidential election. Jimmy Carter was really the first president to express interest in "green energy" so to speak. He even installed solar panels on the White House.  Despite this great early thinking it was met with realistic harshness of the times. There was a bad energy crisis and even gas went up to insane levels. Despite being labeled "a

Herman Cain Thinks Black People Are Brainwashed

After verbally fighting with Morgan Freeman's true remarks that the GOP is full of a bunch of racists, Herman Cain is trying to desperately gain the African American vote. In most elections about 90% vote Democrat, and Herman Cain doesn't like that. He's said black people "have been brainwashed into not being open-minded, not even considering a conservative point of view," really Cain? I don't

Herman Cain Pretends Like There's No Class Warfare

After Obama's new Buffet rule of making the super-rich pay the same rate as the middle class, Herman Cain has taken offense. He says Obama is playing the "class warfare act" and that he wants to take money from his pockets. You can obviously trust a corrupt CEO who made millions by destroying err... I mean downsizing jobs for various companies. George Carlin once talked about the true owners of

Ethanol-Gasoline Mix, Good or Bad?

Ever since the roaring gas prices of the late-Bush era, Ethanol has been promoted like crazy. Unlike gasoline, ethanol is a fuel made mostly from corn, a source we can regrow in a short time unlike fossil fuels which take millions of years. Now it's good we have back-ups in reserve, I doubt it will stay king on top of alternate fuels,  I truly believe electric cars will outperform both when

My Thoughts on the Presidency of Lyndon Baines Johnson

LBJ took a role as President after JFK was assassinated in 1963.Domestically (despite a questionable past in politics) LBJ was pretty liberal socially. He signed the Civil Rights Act of 1964 which was the most major form of equal rights law in history. He also created Medicare for the eldery, and Medicaid for the poor. Both programs still help out many today. He also help created programs such as

Meg Whitman Named HP CEO

The computer company is hoping the former Ebay CEO will help their company. Honestly it couldn't be worse than her California race for Governor last year. She spent over 144 million of HER OWN MONEY and still lost to Jerry Brown. At least she found a job.
