A Look Into Video Games: Nintendo 64DD

This was an add-on for the N64 released only in Japan. It featured optical discs, and even had load times. It had a few games like Doshin the Giant. Kirby 64 was planned but later moved to the regular system.Master Quest was later put on an GameCube disc for Wind Waker pre-orders. Final Fantasy VII was planned but never developed. All work later moved to PS1.

A Look Into Video Games: Rauru

Rauru was the Sage of Light in The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. He made sure Link had time to grow into a hero, and gave us cool time traveling powers. After the events of Ocarina of Time, I guess he just died. He makes a cool window though in Wind Waker. 

A Look Into Video Games: StarFox 2

StarFox was a big hit on the SNES, so did you ever wonder why they never made a sequel until the N64? Well they actually did, and they even finished it. But Nintendo wanted a gap between 2D SNES games and 3D N64 games even though they had almost 2 years to work with. The game seemed to be a step up from the first game. Better graphics, more characters and probably more planets to fly through. 

A Look Into Video Games: Earthbound 64 (Mother 3 Beta)

Earthbound was a fan-favorite hit from the SNES. So fans were hoping for a sequel on Nintendo's next system, the N64.Fans were teased with an early view of Earthbound 64. It apparently had very good graphics back in the day and looked pretty promising. Granted I guess it was somewhat okay they let the game go since the graphics look like junk now. Earthbound did a get a Japan-only sequel called

A Look Into Video Games: Waluigi

Waluigi first appeared to the Mario crew in Mario Tennis for N64.  His name in Japanese pretty much means Bad Luigi. The reason he was created was because Wario needed a doubles partner for the Tennis game. He has appeared alongside his assumed brother ever since. Even in major games like Mario Kart. Oddly enough he's never been in the WarioWare series. He's also been a trophy in Super Smash Bros

StarFox 64 3D Will Lack Online Multiplayer

The 3DS remake of the N64 classic is shaping up great. However fans of the multiplayer mode better have some real life friends, because online play is being ditched. The reason? Time and costs. Because remaking short games is really that expensive on it's own? Oh well, I thought the multiplayer in the original was mediocre anyway.
