The PS3 HD pack will include MGS2, MGS3, Peace Walker, and Metal Gear 1 and 2. Comes out for 50 bucks which might be a little hard to swallow for some fans. But they all are their ultimate editions so you won't be getting jipped this time.

Frogger's Adventures: The Rescue (PS2) Review
This was the last batch of games my girlfriend had left over beside one other game I already had played on GameCube. From here on I must obtain PS2 games on my own. Which shouldn't be too hard since they're so cheap. So yeah this is the first Frogger game I've played since the first game. Obviously I mean the arcade original. I didn't exactly play it in the arcade. I did play it on some arcade

Bucky O'Hare (NES) Review
I don't remember much about Bucky O'Hare except my brother once dressed up as him for Halloween one year. So yeah that's what made me get the NES game which is apparently one of the few games they ever made. It's actually a little bit of a MegaMan clone. You can select the stage you want to complete, and you run around jumping and shooting. It's not a direct copy, but you can easily see the

Things I Like: Dance Dance Revolution: Mario Mix
Before Mario got his own DDR game, I had only briefly played the arcade ones. I didn't have a PS2 at the time, so my choices were pretty limited when it came to music games.Luckily Nintendo and Konami were smart enough to make a dance mat for the game. It sounds like a basic idea that's required but I've seen dumber things done by video game developers than leaving out a dance mat for a dancing

Skate or Die! (NES) Review
Skate or Die! was the Tony Hawk of video games before the excellent series ripped our Playstations apart with shear awesomeness. Was the old series as good as it's modern successor? Well no not even close. I remember playing the arcade version on some GameCube arcade re-release disc I think Midway released and not liking it too well. The NES version shares a similar fate. One thing I'll give this

Things I Hate: Silent Hill 3
I rented the game before trying any other Silent Hill title. I honestly disliked it so much that I didn't even want to pick up the first or 2nd game even though I hear they're better. Now for those who like Silent Hill, this is a fine game. It's just too scary for my tastes. I can stand monsters jumping out of windows in Resident Evil, but this more psychologically scary than it's rival. I also

Things I Like: Castlevania: The Adventure ReBirth
When I heard they were making a Castlevania directly for the WiiWare service I was a little skeptical. Most games that come directly on those services are junk if they're not older games. Surprisingly The Adventure ReBirth is a faithful and good edition to the classic Castlevania games. Even though I'm more of a Metroidvania fan (Castlevania games that play like Super Metroid), I had a really

Things I Hate: Castlevania: Lament of Innocence
I rented this a few years back, and despite some good buzz pre-release among the game magazines I thought this one was pretty disappointing. It had a decent combat engine, sorta Devil May Cry meets Castlevania. However the castle felt boring with empty halls, awkward platforming, and pointless wandering. I returned this back to Blockbuster before you could blink.

TwinBee (Famicom/NES) Review
With a recent release on 3DS as a 3D remake, I thought I'd dig out my old copy and play it. Now this was released only in Japan as far as the NES version goes. So don't expect to find it on the flea market or yard sales. It's a fairly simple shooter, similar to that of Galaga and such. It seems like they were targeting a bit of a younger audience since it's far more colorful, it's easier than most
