Things I Hate: Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End.

I was really hyped for the movie when it came out, but I missed it in theaters. By the time I saw it I'm glassed I didn't ticket price for it. It was all about pirate unity and whatnot. That was cool. Corny weddings are NOT COOL. It's too bad of a film, but it just dissapointed me a lot. The plot was suppose to be better than it was.

Things I Hate: The Cat in the Hat (2003 Film)

The book is a classic, but the movie is junk. It was like the children's book, but the book is so short that it's impossible to make a good movie into. It was so boring. Also Cat Mike Myers is creepy. So is Alec Baldwin.

Things I Hate: MegaMan X6

Even though I don't have a high opinion of the first 2 X games for PS1, they are not too terrible of games. They're actually shiny gemstones compared to X6.It was basically the same old rehashed game-play with some of the worst level design and difficulty. It also ditched Zero from the start, even though you could play as him later on. Pretty lame.

Things I Hate: Medal of Honor: Rising Sun

I had rented this game on Gamecube shortly after it had came out, and boy did I regret it. I admit the Pearl Harbor mission was pretty sweet. Everything after that is embarrassing. Mainly just running through random jungles shooting random soldiers who come after you. I can see why Call of Duty easily stole the spotlight from Medal of Honor.

Things I Hate: MegaMan X5

I played this first through X Collection, and I gotta admit I wasn't impressed. The same crappy story concept stays apart of X5. I don't know why robots bake cake though. The rest of the game was basically what you expected from X4 except even worse. Not exactly the worst MegaMan game but I think the X series went sour before the original series did.

Things I Hate: MegaMan X4

I first played this through the X collection on Gamecube, and even though it's not horrible it really disappointed me. Beside a minor upgrade in graphics, the only thing X4 does that first three didn't were cut-scenes. Very boring cut-scenes that I always skipped. Zero was a lot better to play as this time around, but I just thought the levels were either too poorly designed or too plain

Things I Hate: MegaMan ZX Advent

I don't even remember why I even bought the game. I guess it was cheap at Gamestop and I just needed some Megaman. Except Megaman is a loose term here. You really just play as a bunch of cyborgs with random powers. The gameplay itself was decent, but I remember a horrible map system, and getting lost . Oh well at least I got rid of it.

Things I Hate: Rootbeer

I really can't stand the stuff. Taste like junk, and can look like Coke or Dr. Pepper. I had some bad times when a waiter would give me the wrong thing.

Things I Hate: MegaMan X7

I thought the original MegaMan X for SNES was one of the best in the series. However I think the following games progressively got worse as they went on. MegaMan X6 (the last X game on PS1) was pretty mudane, and not very memorable. X7 took the sub-series into 3D, and man did it stink. The game had a weird 2D to 3D gimmick going for it. Except it just made the game harder, not more detailed. They

Things I Hate: Tron (1982 Movie)

First off, I use the term "hate" because of the two blog series I do. Some things in the middle get harshly treated sometimes, but hey it happens. I don't think Tron was a bad movie, but it was a huge disappointing experience to me. I like the idea for the film where a gaming design dude gets sucked into his own virtual world. A world that looks weirdly cool in a way. But I thought the story was

Things I Hate: Wave Race: Blue Storm

I was huge Gamecube fan back in the day, and this one of the first games Nintendo put on the plate. Apparently Wave Race 64 had a solid fan-base, and this seemed to be a very promising sequel. Since I've never played Wave Race 64, I can't really tell how different the two games were. I've seen some screen-shots and videos, and they don't seem drastically different. Regardless if it's true to it's

Things I Hate: XIII (2003 Video Game)

I bought this game a few years ago after hearing some interesting reviews on the title. Cel-shaded games were pretty popular a decade ago, and XIII took off on this success. Mainly because it was easy too when you're based off a comic book. The game really does feel like a comic books, they even add the "comic book font" when you hurt someone. It's a shame that the game's difficulty really ramps

Things I Hate: Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles

I've been trying real hard to get into the Final Fantasy craze. This was one of my first games in the series, and it didn't shape my opinion of it very well. Granted this game is a spin-off, and not a "real" Final Fantasy game. It is more of an action-RPG, than it's turn-based roots. It also has a story, towns to visit, and plenty of monsters to kill. The main problem with the game is that they

Things I Hate: Silent Hill 3

I rented the game before trying any other Silent Hill title. I honestly disliked it so much that I didn't even want to pick up the first or 2nd game even though I hear they're better. Now for those who like Silent Hill, this is a fine game. It's just too scary for my tastes. I can stand monsters jumping out of windows in Resident Evil, but this more psychologically scary than it's rival. I also

Things I Hate: The Sims: Bustin' Out

I've never played any of the games on PC, but I heard good things. The first console version was pretty big news back in the day, and it scored pretty well among the gaming magazines. So I eventually rented the game to see if it was any good. The game is pretty much like the PC original except a little better graphically, and without all the expansion packs. Though the console controllers

Things I Hate: Pikmin (Gamecube Original)

As a Gamecube fan who started his support for the device before the system came out, I remember Pikmin quite well. It was one of the early launch games for the system, but it was certainly not for everyone. It was Nintendo's first real take at Real-Time-Strategy games, but with a simpler Nintendo twist.  You controlled a little space man named Captain Olimar and you could control this little

Things I Hate: Marble Madness (NES)

I've heard great things over the years, but I got the chance to play it recently and I think it's pretty overrated. On a technical issue, it was an amazing feat for it's day. One of the only NES games to show any real amount of realistic physics. However the controls are pretty awful which means that you'll never reach your goal because of a stiff D-pad on the harder levels.
