Even though I don't have a high opinion of the first 2 X games for PS1, they are not too terrible of games. They're actually shiny gemstones compared to X6.It was basically the same old rehashed game-play with some of the worst level design and difficulty. It also ditched Zero from the start, even though you could play as him later on. Pretty lame.

Things I Hate: MegaMan X5
I played this first through X Collection, and I gotta admit I wasn't impressed. The same crappy story concept stays apart of X5. I don't know why robots bake cake though. The rest of the game was basically what you expected from X4 except even worse. Not exactly the worst MegaMan game but I think the X series went sour before the original series did.

Things I Hate: MegaMan X4
I first played this through the X collection on Gamecube, and even though it's not horrible it really disappointed me. Beside a minor upgrade in graphics, the only thing X4 does that first three didn't were cut-scenes. Very boring cut-scenes that I always skipped. Zero was a lot better to play as this time around, but I just thought the levels were either too poorly designed or too plain

Things I Like: MegaMan X3
Like the 2nd game, my memory is a bit hazy with this one, but I thought it was a decent adventure. Though I admit the same old game-play was getting a bit too tiring. Though you could play as Zero this time around. Pretty sweet.

Things I Hate: MegaMan ZX Advent
I don't even remember why I even bought the game. I guess it was cheap at Gamestop and I just needed some Megaman. Except Megaman is a loose term here. You really just play as a bunch of cyborgs with random powers. The gameplay itself was decent, but I remember a horrible map system, and getting lost . Oh well at least I got rid of it.

Things I Like: MegaMan X2
I had recently played it more on the Megaman X Collection on Gamecube than as a kid on SNES. If I ever had the chance to play it back then. I don't remember too much about the game besides it being the first sequel in the X series. But I knew I had a decent time with the game. A bit too similar to it's predecessor and sadly not as good. Still a lot better than some of the games that followed it.

Capcom Vs. SNK: Pro (PS1) Review
I had played Capcom Vs. SNK 2 EO on Gamecube many years back. I've never played the original game though. I was kinda surprised my girlfriend had an old copy of the game. Not terribly excited to play the original, but I'll give it a shot. The game is basically the same version as the one in the arcade except with a few new features and whatnot. It was a pretty big deal back in the day since it

Things I Hate: MegaMan X7
I thought the original MegaMan X for SNES was one of the best in the series. However I think the following games progressively got worse as they went on. MegaMan X6 (the last X game on PS1) was pretty mudane, and not very memorable. X7 took the sub-series into 3D, and man did it stink. The game had a weird 2D to 3D gimmick going for it. Except it just made the game harder, not more detailed. They

A Look Into Video Games: WonderSwan
The WonderSwan was a handheld created by Bandai in 1999 to compete with Nintendo's Gameboy. In never took off outside Japan, but was a decent hit there. It was actually designed by Gunpei Yokoi, the creator of the GameBoy. It sported mostly a bunch of ports and some original Japanese games. Some notable games included Megaman and Bass. A year later they put out the WonderSwan Color. It didn't

Toki Tori 2 Announced For PC and Mac
The Gameboy Color original has gotten a ton of remakes but never a sequel. Now the wait is over. They are rebuilding the gameplay and coming up with something original. They plan to bring it to PC and Mac first, and all the downloadable platforms later on. Expect it Spring 2012.

A Look Into Video Games: Resident Evil 1 For Gameboy Color
Resident Evil 1 was a huge hit on PS1, but did you know Capcom tried porting the game over to the Gameboy Color? There's a whole lot of videos and pictures still left. This is it, Resident Evil 1 all de-made into Gameboy Color graphics. They even wanted you to use both Chris and Jill just like the PS1 game. Capcom eventually had to can the whole game because of development problems, but this

MegaMan: The Wily Wars Review
I've heard of the game for many years. A "secret" remake of the NES MegaMan games? Sounds too good to be true, and for Americans it certainly was too good to be true. Most of us never got to play it, but our good friends in both Japan and Europe had easy access to it. This was no original MegaMan for the Sega Genesis in any way, shape, or form. This was merely a collection of MegaMan 1, 2, and 3
