Yes Apple was into gaming (besides Macs) long before the iPhone. They teamed up with Bandai to make a console of their own. The specs were pretty much like a Mac computer. It even ran on the same OS. Controller was a little plain and goofy though. Also less than 20 games were made for the system. Yikes.....

Things I Hate: Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End.
I was really hyped for the movie when it came out, but I missed it in theaters. By the time I saw it I'm glassed I didn't ticket price for it. It was all about pirate unity and whatnot. That was cool. Corny weddings are NOT COOL. It's too bad of a film, but it just dissapointed me a lot. The plot was suppose to be better than it was.

Things I Like: The Wicker Man (1973 Film)
Need a perfect Halloween movie? Look none other than The Wicker Man. Not the remake but the 1973 British original. It's not scary in the traditional sense, there's not really any blood or gore, but it does seem more Stephen King than Wes Craven. The movie stars a police officer looking for a missing girl. He goes to a remote Scottish island in search for her. It's so remote that he's the only

Watched The King's Speech (2010 Film)
Rented this movie today, and it was pretty much as good as I heard it was. The film is about the man who would eventually become King George VI of Great Britain. Despite being a royal, he can barely make a speech. Geoffrey Rush plays Lionel Logue a speech therapist who helps King George VI become a real king not a stumbling fool with a crown. The best character of the film for sure. You might

Japanese Words For the Day: Bugs and "How Are You?"
Before we get into bugs, some people have been asking for me to put some sentences. I'm not exactly good at my grammar just yet so let's just keep it to some basic phrases. Now "How are you?" is pretty simple. I'm also going to write down how it sounds since Romaji is not always spelled like it sounds. Genki desu ka?(GENKEE DESS KA)To respond all you need to say is Genki desu. (GENKEE DESS)Which

My Day Yesterday: A Lot of Movies + Dark Cloud
My girlfriend and I watched a whole bunch of movies today. She had gotten these first two from the local library. She's a sucker for made for TV movies. The first one was Molly: An American Girl on the Home Front. It teaches about sacrifice, patriotism, and dealing with loss. I liked the history and theme about it with it being about World War II and such.It also features 80's icon Molly Ringwald

Strike Force Bowling (PS2) Review
For a video game connoisseur such as myself, I find it strange when I've never heard of a game. My girlfriend loved the bowling mini-game in both Wii Sports games, and she was thrilled to know that there was a bowling game for PS2. She rented it off my Blockbuster account, so it didn't really cost me anything in a sense. Except my time, which I want back. The game features basic bare-bones modes

A Look Into History: Bloody Sunday (1905)
Bloody Sunday was an event in 1905, when several groups of Russians marched peacefully to present a protest to Tsar Nicholas II. They protested that they needed better working conditions, wages, and some other things. Also an end to the Russo-Japanese War (which Russia later lost) was a list of demands. The Tsar did not care to meet demands (there was also a depression going on) of working

A Look Into Video Games: 3DO Interactive Multiplayer
The 3DO was a failed video game console back in 1994. It used CDs and was one of the most powerful consoles in it's day. However it was also super expensive. It was also one of the rare instances where multiple companies made the same system. Panasonic sold the most of them. Though companies like Gold Star also sold some. It received ports like Alone in the Dark. Gex also showed up. The Need for

The book is a classic, but the movie is junk. It was like the children's book, but the book is so short that it's impossible to make a good movie into. It was so boring. Also Cat Mike Myers is creepy. So is Alec Baldwin.

I really liked Sudden Impact, I thought it was a tad better than the 3rd film. It was also the movie that coined the phrase "Go ahead! There was also an awesome shootout scene. Stuff goes down at the carnival.

Things I Hate: MegaMan X5
I played this first through X Collection, and I gotta admit I wasn't impressed. The same crappy story concept stays apart of X5. I don't know why robots bake cake though. The rest of the game was basically what you expected from X4 except even worse. Not exactly the worst MegaMan game but I think the X series went sour before the original series did.

Sony and Ericsson Split Ways
I first noticed the brand of phone in Splinter Cell where Sam Fisher used one. Even in the Xbox and GameCube Versions. I didn't know they had teamed up with another company just for cell phones for awhile now. Now the two are parting ways with Sony buying out their share in their cell phone market. I'm expecting them to come out with a huge attempt to take over the market from Androids and

Nintendo Posts a $927 Million Dollar Loss
After a horrible launch with the 3DS, Nintendo had to do price drops among other things. Now they almost lost a billion dollars. They're not out of the game, but they are going to have to seriously reshape their game-plan. I could see them maybe trying to do shameless classic NES ports to smart-phones at least the Android phones.
My Day Yesterday: Bingo, Chess, and Old PS2 Games
I started my day by taking my empty soda cans to a metal scrap yard for money. Got about 9 bucks for 17 pounds. Barely worth the trouble. Took my girl to Pizza Inn, and we also shopped around a bit. At the dollar store I found this. Snow in can? Weird, but it sounds pretty neat for a Christmas tree. Went to Gamestop and found their pile of really cheap PS2 games. Got Hot Shots Golf 3. Medal of

I tried shaking it off, but it stayed on there good. Thankfully there was enough solution in a better branded bottle to make it all nice and better. Felt like my eye was on fire. I had a long day today as well. Worked from

Fact of the Day: Blow Stuff Up Promote Peace
Alfred Nobel started the Noble Peace Prize. However did you know how they get the money to award it's recipients? Nobel had created dynamite and had gained a fortune through it. I assume he made a peace prize mainly because of the violent uses people made for his creation. Feeling guilty and such.

My Day Yesterday: PS2 Where Have You Been For the Past Few Years?
Today my contacts felt better, since they were a brand new pair. They went pretty smoothly all day. While hanging out with my girlfriend, they call me in early to work, but it's alright since they gave me plenty of notice. It gave us plenty of time to watch the movie Rio. After work I plugged in my girlfriend's PS2 at my house. She had one hiding under her bad for the year and a half that I've

Watched Rio (2011 Film)
I never really noticed this movie when it came out in theaters, but I've been wanting to see it ever since I saw the DVD. So it came through the mail via Blockbuster recently, and it was pretty darn good. The movie is about a bird named Blu. He was captured as a baby, and got bounced off the truck and landed in Minnesota. A young girl found him, and they grew up together. They later find out that

Centipede (PS1) Review
I've never really played the game in the arcades, or ever to be a matter of fact. My girlfriend's brother had a copy of this, so I decided to try it out to see if it was any good. Like I said, the PS1 game is based on the classic arcade game. It even includes a copy of the original, just incase you want to play that. I neat little extra, though it is a bit expected. A Look Into History: Orlov Revolt
The Orlov Revolt was a uprising and precursor to the Greek War of Independence. It was a pact between a small group of Greeks and Russia. It was part of the Russo-Turkish War between Russia and the Ottoman Empire. Count Orlov of Russia was the mastermind of it. The Greek forces were at first successful, but due to failure of gathering forces from around Greece and Russian back-up, the revolt was

Things I Like: Ice Age (2002 Film)
It's been awhile since I saw it, but I remember it being fairly decent. I don't remember too much about it, except the pre-historic animals trying to reunited the Eskimo baby with his father. I also remember Scrat. Him and that blasted acorn. It wasn't exactly Pixar quality, but it's a decent pick for kids and adults.

Perm Hair Style
Perm comes from the word “permanent” because the hairstyle perm is where the structure of the hair is changed permanently into a new shape. In this style as the hair grows the perm also grows out. A permanent waving is the reconstruction of the hair shaft by a chemical action. A perm will soften due to the chemical action or lose some of its shape by time, but it rarely will go back to what it originally was or what the natural texture of the hair.
Hair perms are used to create a bend, curl or even to loosen curl for people with naturally tight curls. A perm will do nothing more than give the hair some volume, direct it in a certain way or prevent it from making a parting when not required. Perming is a fantastic way to add everything from body to true curls to straight hair. A perm gives a easy wash and wear hair style, free from the hassles of setting, blow-drying, and curling irons.
Perming requires a bit of extra hair care because of its drying effect. The hair has to be kept well-conditioned and moisturized to maintain curls. Perming can be done on any lengths of hair but very fine hair types or thin hair type must be permed with extreme care to prevent hair damage.
Perm is exceptionally easily and will last long time on the following hairs:
- Curly hair
- Asian hair
- Coarse hair
Types of hair on which perm wont hold at all or will react badly would be best advised not to perm in these circumstances:
- If hair is treated with henna colors.
- If hair is treated with lighteners that lighten hair when in the sun. The result of perming these types of hairs is heavy hair loss.
- Perm will stay for a short period of time on silky smooth or glassy fine hair with a strong outer surface.
Perming Kit!
- Gloves
- Timer
- Perm Solution
- Shampoo
- Conditioner
- Rods
- Vaseline
How to perm!
Every perming process has two parts, the physical wrapping of the hair into shapes and a chemical bath of the hair. The process is as follows.
1. Understand the hair and choose an appropriate perm product from a supermarket or hair stylist. Read and understand directions.
2. Comb hair to get rid of all the knots.
3 Shampoo hair and use a rich protein conditioner. Avoid heavy conditioner as this may prevent the perm from setting.
4 Make sure to wear the correct safety equipment because perm chemicals are not designed for use on the skin. Wear a gloves to resist chemicals. Use petroleum jelly like Vaseline around the neck, face and scalp to protect the skin.
5 Split hair into equal sections. Place appropriate rod as there are many kinds of rods available to produce a variety of different kinds of perm. The size of the rod determines the tightness of the curl and the tightness of the wrap and how long the perm solution stays in the hair.
6. Use a straight rod for the most natural looking curls. Wrap hair around the rod at the same width from top to bottom. Avoid bunching or clumping the hair around the rods.
7. Apply the perm solution beginning at the scalp to the ends. Massage the perm solution carefully into all the hair.
8. Maintain the perm solution at the correct temperature. Leave the perm solution in for the amount of time needed for the desired effect.
9. Understand that a hair perm takes about 2 hours to do well. A perm will not be set for up to 24 hours. A typical perm lasts 3 to 5 months.
10. Rinse the perm solution out of the hair completely. Make sure all the solution is washed away completely.
11. Apply neutralizer. This neutralizing begins the process of re-forming the broken proteins in the hair.
12.Carefully towel hair and hold head upside down and shake it gently. Avoid rash drying because this might damage the new curls as it will take up to 24 hours for the perm to set.
13. Consider a haircut because a good hairstyle has a great influence on the final look of the perm.
14. A permed hair of the desired style is obtained.
15. Do not wash hair for 48 hours after having a perm.
16. When blow-drying use a low heat setting, and fit an air diffuser to the hair dryer which will help avoid drying out of hair.
17. Use a vent brush and styling products specifically designed for permed hair.

Wedding Hairstyle Tips
For convenience’s sake, today many brides prefer medium length hair so the medium style is best suited for this kind of hair with bangs and locks being swept off the face and the hair allowed to flow down with slight curls to compliment the veil.
The wedding hair is one answer to most problems involving long hair. If you want to keep it open rather than tied up then this style entails parting hair at the center with the bangs and locks enabled to fall over the shoulders. Use of a tiara instead of the loose veil adds a touch of chic and gives an old worldly charm to the look.
Often more than not the bride decides to have her hair brushed back and tied into a mound adorning which is a simple tiara much in the style of the fifties.
In conclusion, here are a few last minute tips for selecting the appropriate wedding hairstyle:
- Take good care of your hair, get it trimmed and conditioned as regularly as possible.
- Visit the salon if required and take hair grooming sessions when necessary.
- Go for a style that makes you look elegant and matches your persona.
- Do your homework first. Look at all the suggested hairstyles before selecting the rest of the accessories.
- Try new hairdos if you want a contemporary look and feel.
- Go in for the freely available hair accessories and jewelry for that innovative touch.
- Let the wedding hairstyle be a part of the entire picture and not something that tends to be too distracting.
- Lastly wear a buttoned shirt rather than an over the head top for your final hair styling session on the day of your wedding.

My Day Yesterday: Oh God My Eye!
My day started off pretty sweet. Lots of time to relax and whanot. Watched a few more episodes of Neon Genesis Evangelion. Went to work a little later in the day (worked 6 out of 7 days so most of them were short) and I had rubbed my eye during the trip to work. About halfway, the lens in my left eye fell out, and I lost it. After failing to retrieve it and put it back in my eye, I was left with
